Lee Jun-seok, the presidential candidate from the Reform Party, criticized former President Yoon Suk-yeol on the 17th, calling his declaration of leaving the People Power Party "disgusting."

On that day, the candidate said through Facebook, "It is disgusting for the person who caused this chaos, lost in delusions of voter fraud, to talk about freedom, the rule of law, sovereignty, happiness, and security."

He continued, "Leaving the party will not erase the original sin of the martial law, nor will the outdated perception of Kim Moon-soo, who likened the Constitutional Court's ruling on impeachment to that of Kim Jong-un's dictatorship, be covered up."

He also stated, "It will be the starting point for a serious showdown between Lee Jun-seok and Lee Jae-myung if the candidate (Kim Moon-soo), who shares responsibility for this chaos, steps down alongside Yoon Suk-yeol."

Former President Yoon said on Facebook that day, "I am leaving the People Power Party today. Although I am leaving the party, I will serve in white clothes for the defense of freedom and sovereignty. Please rally around Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party," as he announced his departure.
