Lee Jun-seok, the Reform Party presidential candidate, conducted a campaign on foot near Seongsu-dong, Seoul. With the presidential election just 17 days away, this is interpreted as a full-scale effort to garner support in places with many young visitors.

On the afternoon of the 17th, the candidate visited Yeonmujang-gil in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong District, Seoul, to conduct a campaign on foot. About 200 visitors came to the area, and some in the crowd expressed their support by loudly chanting the candidate’s name. The candidate also shook hands with voters and took pictures with them.

After meeting with citizens, the candidate took to the podium and stated, "After Korea fell into chaos due to President Yoon Suk-yeol's wrongful martial law, we cannot just watch as a terrible populist comes in and destroys the Republic of Korea." He further emphasized, "The Republic of Korea must choose a path that is neither left nor right, but forward. "

The candidate pointed out, "Look at what the two parties have agreed upon regarding the National Pension recently. In the end, they are trying to pass all the financial burden onto generations that have not even been born yet, just to provide more pensions to the older generation right now." He added, "Wise voters should show that we can never represent (the Republic of Korea) by selling the future."

As the final schedule for the day, the candidate plans to continue campaigning on the streets near Hongik University in Mapo District, Seoul. Due to the crowds making it difficult to operate the campaign vehicle, the candidate intends to personally pull a handcart carrying sound equipment to meet with voters.
