After the official campaign for the 21st presidential election began, a public opinion poll released showed that Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, still holds a support rate close to 50%.

However, the gap with Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, has narrowed compared to previous surveys, indicating a distinct trend of pursuit. The support rate for Lee Jun-seok, the candidate from the Reform Party, who was expected to see an increase following the internal crisis within the People Power Party, is still confirmed to be in single digits.

On the 13th, a survey commissioned by Global Economic and conducted by Hankyoreh Research from November 11 to 12 with 1,513 adults nationwide showed that in the presidential candidate support rate, Lee Jae-myung garnered 49.5%, Kim Moon-soo received 38.2%, and Lee Jun-seok from the Reform Party scored 5.7%.

In a previous survey conducted on the 10th by Hankyoreh Research and 폴리뉴스, Lee's score was 44.8% and Kim's was 28.6%, indicating a gap of 16.2% points, which has now narrowed to 11.3% points.

Respondents indicated their preference for the next presidential election, with 51.1% saying that it would be better for the administration to change under the Democratic Party, while 38.3% preferred that the government be maintained under the People Power Party.

58.4% of respondents agreed with former President Yoon Suk-yeol's resignation from the People Power Party, which is higher than the 30.3% who disagreed.
