Former President Yoon Seok-yeol remarked on the 11th, "This presidential candidate primary of the People Power Party faced intense debates and growing pains, but still demonstrated health."

He added, "Our fight is not internal but against the external totalitarian challenges that threaten freedom," and said, "I appeal to all citizens who supported other candidates. Now, please unite your hearts (for Kim Moon-soo)."

Former President Yoon distributed this "appeal to the public" through Facebook that day.

Former President Yoon stated, "The moment Kim Moon-soo is elected as the final candidate, I sincerely express my deep respect to all candidates who competed with me."

He continued, "The mission that former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo revealed during his declaration of candidacy, 'the mission for the prosperity of free democracy and the nation,' has now become a mission to carry on with candidate Kim Moon-soo," and added, "I believe that former Prime Minister Han will stay with us to the end on this path."

Former President Yoon noted, "Although I could not complete my term and stepped down, my heart still belongs to the state, the party, and the people," and said, "I will continue to stand with you to protect this nation's free democracy."

He emphasized, "This 6.3 presidential election is not simply a matter of changing power," and stated, "It is an election that stands at the crossroads of whether to defend or undermine the system of free Republic of Korea. I clearly tell the citizens; now we must unite."

Former President Yoon asserted, "Our opposition is strong," and added, "In this election, we must win, and we can win. I, Yoon Seok-yeol, will be with you to the end."
