The Democratic Party of Korea decided to incorporate the party's unique color blue and the red symbolizing the conservative camp into the promotional materials for the official presidential election campaign. As candidate Lee Jae-myung declared a 'moderate conservative party' and seeks to expand the party's reach, the principle of 'national unity' has been reflected in the promotional materials as well. The candidate's video advertisements minimized the appearance of this candidate.

Park Sang-hyuk, the senior deputy head of the Democratic Party's election campaign committee, explained the direction of this promotional campaign on the 9th at the party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul. The brand identity, which mixes blue and red, is said to have been inspired by the Taeguk symbol. Park noted, 'This reflects the intention to successfully transform the tasks of overcoming internal turmoil and making an economic leap.'

The Democratic Party also unveiled parts of the candidate's logo song and advertisement video that day. The official slogan is 'From now on, a true Republic of Korea, it is now Lee Jae-myung.' Kim Young-ho, the head of the promotional committee, stated, 'Ending internal strife and restoring democracy, the Republic of Korea's leap, and a unified Republic of Korea is the 'true Republic of Korea,' and only this candidate can carry out the historic tasks demanded by this era and the people.'

Individual promotional materials will be sent to senior households with heads aged late 50s and older. Park noted, 'Voters over 50 are individuals who have been moving forward without rest through the crises of democratization, industrialization, and the IMF, and this reflects the candidate's intention to convey a message of gratitude and respect for their sacrifices and dedication.'

The logo song incorporates music such as 'Apartment' by singer Yoon Soo-il, the opening song 'Our Dream' from the anime One Piece, 'Busan Seagull,' 'Southbound Train,' 'Hurricane,' and 'Red Noul.'

In the future, the Democratic Party plans to broadcast four advertisement videos through TV and the internet. Han Woong-hyun, the deputy head, explained, 'It encompasses the message of complete cessation of internal strife and the completion of the light revolution, with a vision to rebuild the economy that has been shattered into a world-leading nation,' and added, 'We aimed to highlight that we are a prepared leader who creates results through listening and unity.'
