Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, along with former representative Han Dong-hoon and lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo, who were among the top four in the party's primary, expressed differing opinions about the confusion within the party due to the push for unification between Candidate Kim and independent candidate Han Duck-soo.

Former representative Han said on the night of the 5th during a live broadcast on his YouTube channel, “There are various stories regarding the presidential candidate right now,” and noted, “I am actually more surprised to hear this as if I didn’t think it would turn out this way.”

Former representative Han stated, “Did they think they could just stop me without knowing this would happen? Did I fight two against one?” and added, “If this was the situation, it was inevitable for it to turn out this way. I feel bad because I think I’m showing a disgraceful side to the people.”

Former representative Han is encouraging party membership among supporters after the party convention. He is reported to have deferred his response to requests to join the party's election campaign committee by saying he would “think about it a bit.”

In response, Ahn stated on the 6th, targeting former representative Han, “What are you doing for the party right now? Do you have the will to stop Lee Jae-myung with our party?”

Ahn expressed doubts on Facebook, saying, “I wonder if former representative Han is perhaps thinking of the party convention after the presidential election loss, and whether he is pursuing party leadership,” and earnestly requested, “Please join the campaign committee and participate in the great cause of stopping Lee Jae-myung.”

Ahn is the only candidate among the top four to join the joint campaign committee of Candidate Kim. However, he is also demanding a public apology regarding the martial law and impeachment of the president from Candidate Kim.

Meanwhile, Hong, the former mayor of Daegu, who left the People Power Party immediately after being eliminated from the presidential primary on the 29th of last month, announced that he plans to leave for the United States around the 10th. He stated on Facebook the previous day, “The reason I left the party is not that I abandoned it, but that the party abandoned me, and with a light-hearted feeling of having no choice but to leave that party, I want to organize my life’s second act.”
