Voting by party members to select the final candidate of the People Power Party concluded on the 2nd with a turnout of 52.62%.

The party's election management committee stated that 402,481 of the 764,853 party members participated in the automated response system (ARS) voting, which closed at 10 p.m. that same day.

In the mobile voting held the previous day, 342,920 participants (44.83%) took part. In the ARS voting targeting party members who did not participate in mobile voting, 59,561 participants (7.79%) were recorded.

The final turnout of the second preliminary election, which was conducted among candidates Kim Moon-soo, Ahn Cheol-soo, Han Dong-hoon, and Hong Joon-pyo, was 50.93%. In this preliminary election, Kim Moon-soo and Han Dong-hoon are engaged in a head-to-head competition.

The final candidate will be selected at the party convention on the 3rd, reflecting '50% from the party member voting and 50% from public opinion polls.'
