Acting Prime Minister Han Duck-soo instructed on the 28th, "The Buk-gu district of Daegu and nearby local governments should mobilize all administrative power to ensure that residents in risk-prone areas can move to safe locations."

Acting Prime Minister Han said this after receiving a report on the wildfire that occurred in Nogok-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, and noted, "The Ministry of the Interior and Safety should cooperate with the Korean National Police Agency and local governments to quickly communicate the disaster situation to nearby residents."

Acting Prime Minister Han said, "Do your best in safety management, including on-site control," and added, "The Korea Forest Service should collaborate with local governments, the Fire Agency, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to mobilize all available equipment and personnel for early wildfire extinguishment."

He also stated, "The wildfire is spreading rapidly due to strong winds, and since residential areas are nearby, ensure thorough emergency rescue and evacuation to prevent loss of life."

Acting Prime Minister Han added, "Pay attention to the safety of extinguishing personnel in preparation for nighttime operations, and ensure thorough readiness of personnel and equipment for extinguishment."
