Kim Keon-hee, the spouse of former President Yoon Suk-yeol, submitted a notice of non-attendance to the National Assembly's Science, Technology, Information and Communications Committee hearing. The reason is that she is having difficulties participating in external activities due to mental and physical weakness.

Choi Min-hee, a Democratic Party member and chair of the Science, Technology, Information and Communications Committee, noted on Facebook on the 25th that "Kim Keon-hee sent a notice of non-attendance for the committee's hearing" and disclosed the notice submitted by Kim.

The Science, Technology, Information and Communications Committee will hold a hearing on "YTN privatization and other broadcasting and communication issues" on the 30th. Previously, the committee selected Kim and Lee Jin-sook, chair of the Korea Communications Commission, and Park Jang-beom, president of KBS, as witnesses during its full meeting on the 18th.

The People Power Party opposed the selection of Kim as a witness, but the agenda was passed under the leadership of the Democratic Party and Rebuilding Korea Party.
