The Han Dong-hoon People Power Party presidential primary candidate camp announced on the 25th that it has appointed Kim Seong-won, a People Power Party lawmaker, as the chairman of the strategic total coordination committee.
Three-term lawmaker Kim has served as the head of the Yeouido Research Institute in 2023.
Former People Power Party spokesperson Kim Yoon-hyung has been appointed as the spokesperson for the Han Dong-hoon candidate camp.
Earlier, the camp appointed former lawmaker Yang Hyang-ja as a joint co-chairman the previous day.
Han said at the time, "When I was serving as Minister of Justice, former lawmaker Yang took a stand to block the unjust law regarding the examination and the investigation, and I remember working together with determination. Although I was in a different place, I was actually working towards the same goal."
