The recommendation committee held a press conference at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, stating, "We recommend acting Han as a candidate who can wisely navigate the trials and conflicts both domestically and abroad based on conservative ideology," and noted, "We support acting Han as the only leader capable of overcoming the current crisis."

The recommendation committee explained its support for acting Han, stating, "He is a leader who understands the values and virtues of conservatism better than anyone else," and added, "He has not taken any personal gains or financial benefits during his long tenure in various roles." It also said, "He has steadily pursued policies prioritizing national interest and appointed talented individuals as needed, which is why he is a true leader who deserves to be made president based on his achievements."

There were discussions within certain political circles about the potential inclusion of former Bareunmirae Party leader Sohn Hak-kyu and former Prime Minister Ko Gun among the recommendation committee members, but they were not included in the list publicly disclosed by the committee.

Chairperson Park Seung-seop of the recommendation committee told reporters regarding the possibility of political figures joining that it was a "no comment" and mentioned, "We will hold another press conference around the 5th of next month." He also stated regarding the possibility of current National Assembly members joining, "About 50 to 60 members have been contacted," though he did not elaborate. There are also predictions that key figures from the People Power Party will join after the final presidential candidate is decided.

Chairperson Park stated after the press conference that when asked if acting Han is aware of the event, "He is communicating via KakaoTalk and making phone calls. Of course, he knows," and regarding the "possibility of acting Han running for office," he said, "Absolutely. He is not someone who would compromise on such matters," but added, "We believe we are somewhat ahead in the arrangements for him."

Organizations supporting acting Han's presidential bid are launching one after another. The day before (the 21st), a civic organization named 'Han Duck-soo Presidential Candidate Recommendation National Movement Headquarters' (recommendation headquarters) held a press conference urging acting Han to run for president.

As expectations for acting Han's candidacy grow within the People Power Party, prospects arise that he will clarify his intention to run soon.

Representative Park Soo-young, who has argued for the 'Han Duck-soo call-up theory' within the party, said during a YouTube interview with Daily Newspaper's 'Lee Dong-jae's News Cabinet' on this day, "If he had decided not to participate, he should have already said 'I have no interest'. I believe there is a 90% chance he will run," and Lee Yang-soo, Secretary-General of the People Power Party, remarked in a radio interview on SBS's Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show, "Acting Han holds a political position and has implications at this point in time, so we cannot ignore that (the rumors of running for office)."
