Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party who declared his candidacy for the presidential election, noted on the 16th that he would join in forming a coalition against Lee Jae-myung. A big tent refers to a strategy where politically diverse forces band together to field a single candidate in elections, such as the presidential election.

Regarding Han Duck-soo, the acting prime minister and presidential authority, who is rumored to be running for the presidency, Ahn Cheol-soo stated, "There are many things to be done, including tariff issues with the United States," taking a negative stance.

After having lunch with Oh Se-hoon, the mayor of Seoul, at Seoul City Hall, Ahn Cheol-soo met with reporters and said, "We will keep the doors wide open for a camp that advocates against Lee Jae-myung when forming the People Power Party big tent."

He further stated, "If Lee Jae-myung, who already holds significant power in the National Assembly, takes control of the executive branch, I am unsure how our country will be shaped, and I feel uneasy," adding, "I am concerned that national liability will significantly increase, similar to some cases in South America."

When asked about his thoughts on the rumors of Han Duck-soo running, Ahn Cheol-soo noted, "The domestic economy is in ruins, and diplomatic issues are complex," stating that "Han Duck-soo has much work to do."

He stated, "Recently, Hyundai Motor received warm welcomes for advancing $31 trillion won in investments in the United States," adding, "While it is a good situation, rather than individual corporations taking action, we need to unite at the national level and aim for a 'big deal' with the United States."

Regarding the issue raised by Yoo Jeong-bok, the mayor of Incheon and another candidate for the party's presidential primary, about the expulsion of former President Yoon Seok-yeol, Ahn Cheol-soo remarked, "Former President Yoon must also be contemplating various strategies for the party and the conservative camp," and that "I believe he will make a decision accordingly."
