The Justice Party explained that after the party's executive committee meeting that day, it decided not to nominate an independent candidate in order to fully end the internal conflict and overwhelmingly replace the ruling power with a coalition supporting a prominent candidate from the opposition.

The Justice Party stated that it has resolved to lead the total mobilization of the forces defending democracy and the constitutional order to achieve an overwhelming victory.

The resolutions of the executive committee will be finalized as the party's official position after a vote by all party members.
