A survey revealed that 48% of respondents believe a change of government should occur in the upcoming presidential election scheduled for June 3, while 37% believe the current administration should be retained.

On the 10th, a national benchmark survey (NBS) conducted by Embrain, Kestetsu Research, Korea Research, and Hankook Research from the 7th to the day before involved 1,001 men and women aged 18 and over, and the results related to perceptions of the presidential election were analyzed as such.

In terms of presidential suitability, former Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung received 32%, while former Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo received 12%. Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo garnered 7%, and Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon each received 5%.

Regarding party support, the Democratic Party received 34%, while the People Power Party garnered 33%, indicating a response rate within the margin of error. The Democratic Party's support dropped by 3 percentage points from last week, while the People Power Party's support remained unchanged.

The NBS survey was conducted through telephone interviews using mobile phone virtual numbers (100%). The margin of error is ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. The response rate is 24.9%.
