The People Power Party on the 10th confirmed the schedule and rules for the primary election for the 21st presidential election and decided to hold a media day and a series of debates among the candidates. This is to raise national interest in the primary.

First, a media day will be held on the 17th, the day after the primary candidates are confirmed. The candidates who pass the document screening will be divided into three groups for debates from the 18th to the 20th.

Before the debates, a drawing for candidate groups will also take place. Lee Yang-soo, the secretary-general, noted in a briefing after an emergency response meeting on that day, "Just as media days are held in professional baseball and soccer, this is to generate national interest and allow candidates to promote themselves well," and explained, "The drawing of candidate leagues will be conducted like the World Cup draw."

A media day for the four candidates advancing to the second primary will also be held on the 23rd. On the 24th and 25th, a one-on-one debate will be held for the four candidates. One candidate will take the lead and designate another candidate to proceed with the debate. The secretary-general said, "Centered on the one-on-one lead debate, we will add entertaining elements like 'The Fist Is Crying,' 'Praise Relay,' and 'Mr. Trot,' but we will prepare it without going overboard," he stated. On the 26th, the candidates who finished the one-on-one debates will gather for a four-way debate.

If the candidates for the main primary are confirmed on the 30th through voting by the electoral college and a national opinion poll, a head-to-head debate for the two finalists will also be conducted.

However, due to the short duration of the primary, joint speeches in different regions will not be held.
