On the 5th, Na Kyung-won, a member of the People Power Party, visited the residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul, where former President Yoon Suk-yeol is staying and met with him. According to sources from the People Power Party, Na is said to have had a one-hour private conversation with the former president at the presidential residence in Hannam-dong. The meeting was reportedly initiated by the former president.

During the meeting, the former president reportedly said to Na, 'Thank you for playing a significant role during difficult times. You have worked hard.' He also expressed concerns about the crisis facing South Korea both domestically and internationally, as well as the upcoming early presidential election. There were no other participants present. In response, Na is said to have replied, 'I am saddened by the unfavorable outcome of the trial.'

Na is a prominent figure who led the submission of petitions urging the ruling party to dismiss or reject the impeachment motion against the former president. In February, she also visited the detention center where the former president is incarcerated, accompanied by Kweon Seong-dong, the floor leader of the People Power Party, and Kwon Young-se, the emergency committee chairman.

Previously, the former president met with Kwon, the emergency committee chairman, and Kwon, the floor leader, the day before the Constitutional Court ruled for his impeachment, saying, 'Since there isn't much time until the early presidential election, I hope the party prepares well for the election and wins.'
