The mobility platform SOCAR announced on the 16th that it has launched a 'corporate customized' product, which is a corporate car-sharing service optimized for business trips and fieldwork, through its business-to-business (B2B) exclusive brand 'SOCAR Enterprise.'
The corporate customized product focuses on reducing transportation expenses and increasing the flexibility of vehicle operation for medium to large corporations that frequently have business trips and field work. First, it provides coupons that allow car-sharing without rental fees and insurance fees based on the monthly subscription fee. The coupons are available in various time slots from short outings such as 10 hours, 15 hours, 24 hours, to 48 hours, accommodating business trips of more than one night. By applying the coupons, customers can use the vehicle freely from a minimum of 10 hours to a maximum of 48 hours and only need to pay for the driving charges and high-pass charges based on the distance traveled.
The pricing system has been refined to allow flexible usage in accordance with the average monthly number of business trips and fieldwork per corporation. All pricing plans include a constant 50% discount on lending fees. The pricing plan cost is billed monthly per person and is available for subscription starting from five people. Detailed product information can be found on the SOCAR Enterprise website.
In response to the growing demand for cost efficiency among corporations, SOCAR has rebranded its existing corporate-only brand 'SOCAR Business' to 'SOCAR Enterprise' and is launching new products along with various support programs. In May, it started a promotion that exempts the subscription fee for the 'work discount type' product of SOCAR Enterprise, which offers 60% discount on lending fees during the weekdays and 50% on the weekends at a subscription fee of 10,000 won per month, for one year. After the promotion began, the number of corporations subscribing to the product increased by 145% over the two months following the promotion compared to the two months prior to its implementation.
