'AI Vision Intelligence' is a multimodal-based Korean Sovereign AI package that applies the neural processing unit (NPU) of the domestic AI semiconductor corporation Rebellions and the large language model 'EXAONE' from LG AI Research Institute. KOLON Benit implemented real-time AI safety monitoring focused on construction sites through this technology verification and showcased an advanced language explanation function and precise hazard detection technology.

This system has improved real-time inference performance by utilizing both GPU and NPU. In particular, EXAONE plays a role in explaining detected dangerous situations in specific language, contributing to the implementation of a high-understanding AI-based safety monitoring environment. Five companies, including KOLON Benit, LG AI Research Institute, Rebellions, WISH, and KOLON GLOBAL participated in the verification.

'AI Vision Intelligence' is currently applied at KOLON GLOBAL construction sites, detecting various hazards in real-time, such as safety helmet non-wear, entering danger zones, and heavy equipment access, thereby increasing accident prevention effectiveness.
