Raonsecure announced on the 11th that it will collaborate with Pi Digital Healthcare to promote the spread of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) technology for medical data security.
The two companies recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Raonsecure's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, to apply post-quantum cryptography to medical healthcare platforms. This agreement aims to strengthen subsequent cooperation following the Ministry of Science and ICT's '2025 Project Support for Transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography.'
Pi Digital Healthcare is a joint venture between Yonsei Medical Center and Kakao, providing real-time personalized prescriptions and linked services between hospitals, patients, and digital therapeutic devices through its 'Connect-DTx' platform, which is currently operational at major advanced hospitals.
According to the agreement, Raonsecure plans to apply its post-quantum cryptography solutions 'KeyShopBiz' and 'KeyShopWireless' to Pi Digital Healthcare's platform and gradually expand the PQC-based data relay system for medical institutions.
Lee Jeong-a, CEO of Raonsecure, noted, 'As the medical field contains sensitive information, post-quantum security response is essential, and through this collaboration, we will enhance the level of medical data protection and lead the market by expanding the PQC-based infrastructure.'
