KRAFTON announced on the 11th that it will hold the 'School Battle with Galaxy Z Fold7' nationwide school competition in collaboration with Samsung Electronics.
This competition is a community-type event where high school and university students from across the country participate under their school names. It is designed to allow students to enjoy playing PUBG Mobile together and experience a healthy gaming culture. In particular, this competition supports more immersive gameplay with the powerful gaming performance enhanced by the large display of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, which was unveiled on the 9th, lightweight design, and high-performance chipset.
The online preliminaries will take place from the 10th to the 31st of this month at 'Galaxy Campus,' and a total of 16 schools will advance to the finals. The finals will be held offline on the 9th of next month at the flagship store 'Samsung Gangnam.'
There is no limit to the number of participants per school, and students from the same school can form teams or participate individually in ranked matches or classic mode. The total of 16 schools that place in the top four in four categories—'Most Chicken,' 'Most Participation,' 'Most Kills,' and 'Longest Survival'—from the online preliminaries will advance to the offline finals.
The preliminaries MVP will receive 'Galaxy Buds3,' and 100 users who participated in over 100 matches will be randomly selected to receive delivery gift certificates. All users who participated in the preliminaries will receive 'Chicken Medals,' which are in-game currency. All participants from the winning school in the finals will be awarded chicken gift certificates, and the finals MVP will receive a Galaxy Z Fold7. Additionally, scholarships will be awarded to the teams that reach the semifinals based on their rankings. During the finals at Samsung Gangnam, a 'Galaxy Z Fold7 Game Play Zone' will be operated.
On-site events will also be conducted with popular creators. On the 19th, there will be a fan meeting with 'Woojeong-ing', and on the day of the finals, there will be an event match featuring 'Mingmo' and 'Sed' along with a quiz event using Gemini AI.
