On the 10th, NHN Talent Inc., a subsidiary of NHN Cloud, announced the launch of 'CONE-DaaS', enhancing its lineup of CONE services.
CONE-DaaS is a virtual desktop service based on private cloud that provides a secure environment to use desktops anytime and anywhere with the desired device. To respond to the rising demand for alternative solutions due to soaring expenses of foreign virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions like VMware, the permanent license abolishment, and subscription policy changes, NHN Talent Inc. launched CONE-DaaS.
The main feature of CONE-DaaS is that NHN Talent Inc. introduces the DaaS solution to the computing environment of its clients, allowing them to have control over and manage the services. Additionally, it is advantageous as it can be customized to meet various internal regulations or compliance requirements demanded by corporations or institutions.
As a cloud service, CONE-DaaS is differentiated from existing on-premises VDI by integrating all necessary equipment and systems for the service, as well as providing maintenance services and automatic updates. There is also the benefit of being able to flexibly adjust the infrastructure according to the required scale and adopting a pricing method based on user scale to reduce expenses.
NHN Talent Inc. plans to actively supply services primarily to financial and public institutions seeking to enjoy the advantages of the cloud while utilizing a secure virtualization desktop service that complies with security regulations, as well as to private corporations that have adopted remote work or have a large number of field personnel.
Baek Se-ryun, CEO of NHN Talent Inc., said, "We have launched an optimized CONE-DaaS for corporations and institutions wishing to utilize virtualization desktops in a safe and flexible environment while retaining control over the service." She noted, "In the future, we will continue to launch various CONE solutions that incorporate private and native cloud professional capabilities, supplying tailored services that corporations need."
