On the 10th, Dyson announced the launch of the consumer version of the "Supersonic R Hair Dryer," the lightest and highest-performing product in its hair care lineup.
The Dyson Supersonic R Hair Dryer was first introduced as a professional model in August last year. Dyson explained that due to increasing interest and demand from general consumers for the Supersonic R Hair Dryer, it is being offered for general consumers so they can achieve professional-level styling at home.
The most significant feature of the Dyson Supersonic R Hair Dryer is that it has been completely redesigned from the original Supersonic Hair Dryer, featuring a curve design that resembles the letter R. Additionally, Dyson reduced the size by 30% and made it 20% lighter, weighing 325 grams for the main unit, thus relieving wrist strain.
The Dyson Supersonic R Hair Dryer is equipped with a high-power density ultra-fast responsive heater. Ten heater foils, evenly distributed along the curved body of the device, evenly transfer heat to the airflow generated by the motor. This ensures that airflow and temperature are maintained uniformly, allowing for fast and precise drying without excessive heat damage.
With the main unit, five styling nozzles are provided, including a power dry nozzle, professional concentrator, gentle dry nozzle, smoothing nozzle, and flyaway nozzle, enabling a wider variety of styles. Each styling nozzle features a smart styling nozzle function. Once the tool is attached to the main unit, it automatically sets the optimal temperature and airflow recommended by hair professionals, maximizing the styling effect.
The consumer version of the Dyson Supersonic R Hair Dryer is available in two colors: ceramic pink and rose gold, as well as jasper plum, and the recommended retail price is 629,000 won.
