LG Electronics announced on the 6th that it has prepared purchase benefits in line with the government's 'Top Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program.'
The government has provided that consumers purchasing energy efficiency grade 1 products can receive a 10% rebate on the purchase amount, up to a maximum of 300,000 won per person. The aim is to expand the distribution of energy-efficient appliances. The rebate-eligible products include ▲TVs ▲air conditioners ▲dehumidifiers ▲washing machines ▲dryers ▲refrigerators ▲kimchi refrigerators ▲dishwashers ▲air purifiers, among others.
LG Electronics will attach a 'Top Efficiency Rebate' label to easily identify rebate-eligible products. After purchasing the relevant products, customers can apply for the rebate through the Korea Energy Agency (KEA) website. Products purchased through subscriptions are also eligible for the rebate.
LG Electronics is also hosting the 'Top Efficiency Appliance Festa' event in line with the rebate program. Customers who purchase rebate-eligible products at LG Electronics Best Shops and enter the event through the LG Electronics membership app will be entered into a draw for a chance to win ▲stylers ▲aero furniture ▲mobile gift cards, among other prizes. Online brand shops will also offer discount coupons worth up to 500,000 won.
LG Electronics' high-efficiency appliances are based on their core technology known as 'Core Tech.' A representative example is inverter technology, which precisely controls the rotation speed of motors and compressors to reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
In partnership with 'E-Circular Governance,' LG Electronics is also conducting an event offering up to 50,000 points (Naver Pay or Kakao Pay) rebate benefits for customers who purchase approximately 170 'E-Circular Excellent Product' certified models, including TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, stylers, and dishwashers, through subscriptions at nationwide LG Electronics Best Shops. The event period runs until July 31.
