KT announced on the 6th that it is recruiting trainees for the 8th class of the youth digital talent training program KT AIVLESCHOOL.
AIVLESCHOOL is a program collaboratively developed by KT and the government to cultivate practical digital talent for corporations and to connect this talent to jobs in corporations that require expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing, thereby contributing to the enhancement of national digital competitiveness.
This recruitment will run until the 28th. The recruited 8th class trainees will enter the program in mid-September and participate in a training course lasting about six months. Anyone under the age of 34 who has completed at least six semesters at a four-year university is eligible to apply.
KT has strengthened the curriculum for AI and cloud courses in the 8th class training. Emphasis will be placed on developing practical skills in service development and proposal areas utilizing AI and cloud technology.
Those who apply to KT after completing the training will receive preferential benefits. They will have opportunities to obtain not only the national certification AI certificate AICE, developed by KT, but also certifications such as big data analysis.
Trainees will receive a total of 840 hours of theoretical and practical training. They will also participate in real-world projects conducted by corporations. KT provides a dedicated online practice platform, AIVLE-EDU, to ensure that trainees can receive high-quality education in the same environment and conditions nationwide.
AIVLESCHOOL uses a project-based learning approach, allowing participants to experience the entire process from identifying tasks to implementing services. Throughout this process, KT's current experts provide practical coaching, supporting participants in acquiring the work methods found in actual corporate environments.
Graduates who have completed the program have been employed by over 500 leading corporations, excelling in fields such as AI development, data analysis, and IT operations. AIVLESCHOOL has also won the grand prize at the 'K-Digital Training Hackathon,' organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, four times in a row.
Go Chung-rim, head of KT's talent division (executive director), noted, "We will continue to expand the production of excellent practical talent through innovative artificial intelligence transformation (AX) education programs and qualification certifications, and support them in leading AX innovation in various industrial sectors."
