Numerous accolades have been received from technology-centered media in the U.S. and the U.K. for Samsung's organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TV.
On the 6th, according to Samsung Electronics, the U.K. IT media outlet T3 selected the Samsung OLED S95F model as the 'Best TV of Year' and 'Best Gaming TV.' T3 noted it as 'the best TV for enjoying both games and movies,' stating that 'the brightness is exceptional, making games feel more realistic.'
Global IT media outlet 'TechRadar' also recently described the Samsung OLED S95F as 'achieving outstanding brightness and color for an overwhelming level of picture quality, and effectively eliminating light reflections even in bright indoor settings with glare-free 2.0 technology.' The outlet further noted that 'it delivers deep blacks, bright whites, and a variety of contrast tones that enhance depth and texture, allowing clear viewing of movies with significant black-and-white contrast,' awarding it a perfect score of 5.
The U.K. IT media outlet 'Expert Reviews' also awarded the Samsung OLED S90F a perfect score of 5, designating it as a recommended product. Expert Reviews praised it as 'the best gaming TV that provides a more satisfying gaming experience than any other TV due to its excellent gaming performance,' adding that 'it implements true blacks without muddling or smearing dark scenes in movies or TV shows.' The outlet also stated, 'Samsung's OLED lineup continues to evolve, and the S90F line clearly conveys Samsung's unique OLED DNA compared to last year.'
According to market research firm Omdia, Samsung Electronics recorded a market share of 50.3% in terms of revenue and 45.2% in terms of quantity in the North American OLED TV market during the first quarter. This marks a significant achievement of claiming the top position in the North American market just three years after entering the OLED TV market.
