Megazone Cloud recently announced on the 2nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Classiq for "strategic cooperation on quantum computing technology" at the Global Quantum Technology event "Quantum Korea 2025" held at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.
Under this agreement, the two companies plan to promote cooperation to prepare for the commercialization era of quantum technology, including ▲joint development of domestic quantum education programs ▲joint project planning and execution for customers ▲implementing hybrid computing through technology integration. In addition, the companies plan to expand the quantum ecosystem through proof of concept (PoC) based on industrial demand, customized workshops for customers, and collaboration with domestic and international technology communities.
Classiq is a corporation known for its high-level quantum software development platform, which optimizes circuits for compatibility with various quantum hardware using a deep compilation technique with the quantum modeling language Qmod. Classiq's products help design complex quantum programs easily and efficiently, allowing non-experts to create and execute optimized quantum applications. Classiq's model-driven approach is evaluated as a key technology that will accelerate the practical implementation of quantum computing as the number of physical qubits is expected to expand significantly.
This collaboration closely aligns with Megazone Cloud's strategy of becoming "Asia's largest quantum cloud service hub." Megazone Cloud is providing a quantum access environment based on Amazon Braket to domestic corporations and is currently conducting projects in various fields including quantum AI, quantum optimization, and quantum chemistry. This collaboration is expected to develop more practical quantum computing application models as Classiq's advanced algorithm design tools and platforms are combined with Megazone Cloud's quantum cloud service capabilities.
