NCSOFT announced on the 26th that it has published its fifth sustainability report, 'ESG Playbook 2024.'

NCSOFT has transparently shared the company's sustainability management status with stakeholders for five consecutive years since it published the first sustainability report in the domestic gaming industry in 2021. The ESG Playbook 2024 includes major achievements and strategies for sustainable growth based on NCSOFT's management direction for 25 years, including ▲improving game quality ▲enhancing technological capabilities ▲expanding globally.

NCSOFT introduced its continuous efforts to establish a development culture created together with users. It is expanding communication with users through live broadcasts for each game, collecting feedback and making improvements, and conducting overseas tests. It also emphasized efforts to provide a reliable gaming environment.

It has established a global level of information protection system and was the first in the domestic gaming industry to obtain the global personal data protection certification, CBPR. It has enhanced service stability through multi-data center operations and server distribution. In addition, it increased the consistency and completeness of the report's content to comply with the latest global ESG standards such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.

NCSOFT is leading among gaming companies in disclosing greenhouse gas data from its eight subsidiaries, including those in the United States, Japan, and Taiwan, including other indirect emissions (Scope 3). This year, it has further advanced its environmental data management system by expanding the public categories of Scope 3 from the previous five to seven.

Park Byeong-moo, co-chairman of the ESG Management Committee, said, 'The answer to the sustainability that NCSOFT should pursue is to be true to the basics,' and noted, 'By continuously enhancing game quality and technological aspects, we will provide unique enjoyment exclusive to NCSOFT and will solidify our place as a trustworthy corporation for all stakeholders through genuine efforts across all aspects of ESG.'
