Snowflake held a 'Snowflake Summit 2025 press conference' on the 24th at the AC Hotel in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, introducing new technologies such as the natural language-based AI agent 'Snowflake Intelligence' and advancements in data engineering and AI computing.
According to the company, Snowflake Intelligence supports business users without coding experience in performing complex data analysis. By asking questions in natural language, it provides immediate insights from structured and unstructured data, offering an interactive solution between operational departments and data experts. Another new technology, the Data Science Agent, automates the routine development of machine learning (ML) models to enhance productivity.
Louis Lee, executive director of sales engineering, noted, "Our goal is to create an environment where every member of corporations can freely utilize data and artificial intelligence (AI). With this democratization of data, we aim to help corporations derive insights faster and achieve tangible business results."
Choi Gi-young, head of Snowflake Korea, stated, "The key to the technologies unveiled at this summit is to support corporations in effectively implementing AI on top of their data infrastructure to maximize business value."
He also said, "We will continue to strive to support the use of open-source databases, AI, analytics, and app development within Snowflake's single platform, allowing corporations to discover insights through data-driven AI, ensure smooth collaboration, and enjoy robust data security."
