On the 24th, global software and security corporation Okta announced the appointment of Kyu-Eon Hwang as the new head of its Korean branch.
New CEO Hwang is expected to strengthen Okta's foothold in the identity and access management (IAM) market in Korea and lead business growth. Hwang is an expert with over 20 years of experience in various IT corporations, including LG CNS, Cisco, Citrix, and DocuSign.
Hwang said, "As a digital native country that has achieved significant advancements, Korea is experiencing a rapid digital transformation, and accordingly, the importance of security is greater than ever. I aim to actively utilize Okta’s technological capabilities to elevate the security level of Korean corporations and contribute to creating a safer digital environment."
