AhnLab recently announced on the 24th that it has strengthened its information security management system within the group by simultaneously obtaining the international standard information security certification 'ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (hereinafter referred to as ISO 27001)' for three subsidiaries.
This certification was conducted for three domestic subsidiaries, including AhnLab and AhnLab Blockchain Company (CEO Kang Seok-kyun), Jason (CEO Kim Kyung-hwa), and Naon Works (CEO Lee Jun-kyung), based on an audit performed by the global certification body DNV Business Assurance Korea on key items of the ISO 27001 criteria.
AhnLab has maintained the ISO 27001 certification for 18 years since 2008 and has continuously practiced information security standards that meet international criteria. This year, it expanded the certification to include subsidiaries, thereby strengthening the group’s information security system. The subsidiaries that received certification this time were obtaining their first certification, and they plan to continue to maintain the certification each year together with AhnLab.
Kang Seok-kyun, CEO of AhnLab, noted, 'This certification is the result of the efforts made by AhnLab and its subsidiaries to enhance their information security levels, and it is significant in that we have secured a group security management system that meets global standards.' He added, 'AhnLab and its subsidiaries will continue to collaborate to provide more trustworthy services to customers as the “AhnLab Group,” which is growing together based on expertise in each business area.'
