The post office's computer network experienced temporary access issues as users flocked to it due to the cloud system transition that took place over the weekend.

According to Korea Post on the 23rd, access delays occurred from 8:50 a.m. for about 20 minutes on the post office's online system for mail services, the ePost site, and the postal workers' PDA system.

Korea Post had suspended online services for approximately 22 hours from 5 p.m. on the 21st to 2 p.m. on the 22nd for the transition to a cloud postal system.

A Korea Post official noted, “Due to customers not being able to use the unmanned mail receipt machines during the weekend, there was access delay as they all tried to log into the system Monday morning,” adding, “The access delay was resolved after 9:10 a.m.”
