Beam Mobility announced on the 19th that it successfully completed a collaborative project with Hanyang University aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the personal mobility (PM) safety education program titled "Beam Safe Driving Academy."

This collaboration focused on planning safety campaigns by reflecting the perspectives of the main user demographic of PM, which is individuals in their 20s, and discovering practical ideas. Participating in this project over a semester were students from Hanyang University’s Department of Advertising and Public Relations, who presented various proposals from analyzing PM usage patterns to content planning and execution strategies.

The final winning team gained attention by proposing a social media challenge that reinterprets helmets as fashion items. Additionally, many ideas reflecting Gen Z sensibilities, such as lenticular tags and messages on footrests, were submitted.

Beam Mobility is reviewing ways to incorporate some of the excellent proposals into actual training courses and campaign executions.

A representative from Beam Mobility said, "The vivid ideas derived from the perspective of users in their 20s have suggested new directions for safety policy," adding, "We will continue to collaborate closely with actual users and local communities to undertake various efforts to establish order in PM usage and foster a culture of safety."
