Nexon Korea disclosed on the 19th that it participated in the capital increase of its subsidiary ButtonS with an investment of 22 billion won. Including this investment, Nexon Korea's total investment in ButtonS has increased to 52 billion won.
ButtonS is a subsidiary wholly owned by Nexon Korea and was founded by Kim Yoon-jong, former director of Dungeon & Fighter, who was formerly the CEO of AceTom. Currently, Kim Hyun, former vice president of Nexon, serves as the CEO.
ButtonS is developing the next-generation multiplayer action game "Everett," based on Unreal Engine 5.
