Epic Games announced on the 18th that it has selected Bruno Mars as the icon for the ‘Fortnite Festival’ Season 9.
Through this update, starting from the 18th (local time), a Bruno Mars-themed music pass, items, and popular song-based jam tracks such as ‘APT.’ will be added. Players can earn experience points throughout the Fortnite ecosystem, including the ‘Fortnite Festival’, and can obtain free and premium rewards related to Bruno Mars in the music pass. Free rewards include the heart-shaped holster ‘Dreamer’s Dual Wield’ and other accessories, ‘Sonic Splash Guitar’, ‘Hype!’ emote, ‘Paddle BASS’, as well as four new jam tracks.
Along with the season update, the main stage of the ‘Fortnite Festival’ will change to a modern, angular shape with neon lighting, and several game improvements will also be added. The music library and main leaderboard screen will once again display the ‘All-Time Leaderboard’, rekindling players' competitive spirit. Additionally, a feature for searching song titles or artists by alphabet will be added on the main stage, allowing players to find their desired songs more quickly, and an option to randomly select songs will also be introduced, enabling a more diverse selection of tracks.
