“This year, the Salesforce Agentforce platform is expected to start services at the Korean data center in the third quarter.”

Son Buhwan, the representative of Salesforce Korea, noted at the ‘Agentforce World Tour Korea 2025’ press briefing held in COEX, Gangnam, Seoul, on the 18th, that “Salesforce has decided to make a strategic investment in Korea.” He explained, “In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), technologies to prevent the outflow of data and AI sovereignty are becoming increasingly important,” adding that the company decided to invest to safely support AI agents for Korean clients. A dedicated AI lab to support this has also begun operating domestically.

Salesforce is the world's largest cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) service corporation. This year's revenue is expected to reach a maximum of $41.3 billion (approximately 55 trillion won), an increase of more than 8% from the previous year. Salesforce introduced the ‘Agentforce’ platform in September of last year, enabling the development and deployment of customized AI agents quickly and easily based on low-code. Clients can develop tailored AI agents specialized for sales, service, marketing, and commerce using Agentforce.

Representative Son stated, “AI is leading the digital labor revolution,” and “Corporations have entered an era where autonomous AI agents collaborate with humans to innovate workflows.”

He further remarked, “Using Agentforce, organizations can enhance work productivity and immediately provide the services that customers expect.” This describes how AI agents built using Agentforce can take over repetitive and inefficient tasks, allowing employees to focus on more creative and value-added work, thereby increasing productivity.

According to Salesforce, over 850,000 technical supports have been provided through Agentforce, with 85% of these resolved solely by AI agents without the intervention of service engineers.

Representative Son mentioned that “Korea's AI industry is dynamic compared to the size of its IT market, making it a high investment priority.” This is why Salesforce implemented its public cloud-based infrastructure ‘Hyperforce’ in Korea ahead of major countries like Germany and Italy.

The Agentforce World Tour is an AI conference hosted by Salesforce in major cities around the world. The event held that afternoon was themed ‘Turning imagination into reality: Agent-based business innovation.’ Keynote speakers included Son Buhwan, the representative, KT McNamara, Vice President of the Salesforce AI institutional sector, and Kim Gyuha, Vice President of Toss.

Vice President McNamara stated, “The success of AI agents depends on reliable data,” explaining that Salesforce's data cloud integrates structured and unstructured data scattered across corporations, supporting AI in making accurate and accountable decisions in real time.
