On the 16th, Databricks announced a new user interface, "Databricks One," to support non-technical users in easily utilizing its data intelligence platform.

Databricks One provides an AI-based assistant called "Genie" that helps business users interact with AI/BI dashboards without coding and ask questions about data in natural language. This enables non-technical users to perform data analysis more intuitively and efficiently.

The platform is built on Databricks' proven data intelligence platform, offering integrated governance and security, as well as high-performance serverless computing, allowing various departments within an organization to easily analyze and utilize data. Databricks One moves away from the conventional technology-centric platform and provides an intuitive and simple environment for business users, and it is expected to support cause analysis and summarization through its "Deep Research" feature.

Databricks One will be available starting today in a private preview format, with a beta version to be made available to all customers after summer. Lee Se-young, the representative of Databricks, noted, "This launch aims to provide non-technical users with the same excellent experience as technical users and to enable all members of the organization to make the most of data."

Ali Ghodsi, the CEO of Databricks, said, "We will ensure that all users can equally leverage technology through the democratization of AI and data," adding that Databricks One will be the first step in this direction.
