This public recruitment will be conducted simultaneously in four regions: Seoul, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Gwangju, aiming to broadly discover innovative startups nationwide and expand business collaboration opportunities. The recruitment fields include ▲AI ▲robots ▲digital health ▲IoT ▲content & services ▲materials and components ▲mobility ▲ESG, with plans to select startups that possess both technological capabilities and business viability.
Startups registered as corporations in Korea that have received Series B or lower investment can apply through the 'Samsung C-Lab website'. Series A refers to the early stage of a business preparing for market entry, while Series B refers to the stage where a startup recognized through Series A prepares for business expansion and overseas entry.
Samsung Electronics is supporting startups selected through 'C-Lab Outside' to seek business collaboration opportunities with Samsung Electronics and create synergies through practical business links. Startups will have the opportunity to integrate with Samsung Electronics' major products and services and explore new market possibilities.
The aerobic exercise AI analysis startup 'Lidek', selected for 'C-Lab Outside 6th batch', provides users with sophisticated and personalized health management features by incorporating its self-developed fitness AI model into the Samsung Health app, based on health data measurement and analysis technology.
Also, the corporate 'Pinpoint', which specializes in building IoT integrated management solutions, has developed an app related to Samsung Electronics' 'SmartThings Pro' for managing commercial buildings and successfully applied the solution at the office building 'Factorial Seongsu' located in Seongsu-dong.
Samsung Electronics' C-Lab provides multifaceted support for startups in building networks and attracting investments necessary for their growth process. By running the 'C-Lab Outside Demo Day', it offers graduation candidates from startups presentation and exhibition opportunities to directly communicate with investors and industry stakeholders.
It supports participation in CES, the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition, providing opportunities to showcase products and services in the global market and expand networks with overseas investors and buyers.
Startups selected for C-Lab can receive various benefits, including ▲business support funds of up to 100 million won without acquiring equity ▲dedicated office space ▲Samsung Electronics' internal consulting program ▲participation in domestic and international IT exhibitions such as CES ▲free transfer or license use of Samsung Electronics' patents.
