On the 16th, HANCOM announced that it will supply its core AI solutions to the Samsung SDS consortium, which was selected as the preferred negotiation target for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'government-wide super-large artificial intelligence (AI) common infrastructure implementation project.'

This is HANCOM's third achievement in the institutional sector related to AI this year, following the first phase of the 'National Assembly big data platform construction' project it won earlier this year and the 'intelligent work management platform construction' project from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. Through this, it is proving its unique technological capability in the public AI field and strengthening its position in the market.

This project is a super-large AI infrastructure construction project commissioned by the National Information Society Agency (NIA). It aims to provide all AI resources, including computing resources, common data, and development and operational environments, so that government departments and local governments can utilize generative AI without security concerns.

Through the Samsung SDS consortium, HANCOM will supply ▲ the AI training data extraction solution 'HANCOM Data Loader' ▲ the retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) based intelligent question-and-answer system 'HANCOM-Pedia' ▲ and the 'HANCOM Integrated Document Viewer,' which can integrate and transform various document formats. In particular, 'HANCOM-Pedia' is an advanced generative AI solution that automatically structures vast public documents and provides accurate, evidence-based answers in real time. It offers a precise Q&A environment that can immediately be utilized for policy-making and administrative tasks by composing search indexes from integrated documents of various formats.

Kim Yeon-soo, the CEO of HANCOM, noted, 'We will proactively respond to the rapidly increasing demand for generative AI in the public institutional sector through this project,' and said, 'Based on the experience and technological capabilities accumulated through public projects, we will further advance AI technology and expand our business with differentiated competitiveness in the private market.'
