Red Hat and Oracle announced on the 13th that they will collaborate to operate next-generation workloads, including artificial intelligence (AI), more efficiently in a hybrid cloud environment.

Through this collaboration, the two companies agreed to provide support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat OpenShift across various deployment options, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for government, sovereign, and decentralized cloud services. This also applies to high-security and geographically compliant deployment environments required in the government and regulatory industries.

Market research firm Gartner predicted that by 2027, 90% of organizations will adopt a hybrid cloud strategy, and that the most urgent issue related to generative AI in the coming year will be data synchronization across the entire hybrid cloud environment. Red Hat and Oracle stated that they have decided to collaborate proactively to address these requirements.
