Databricks announced on the 13th that it plans to unveil a demonstration version of its new no-code ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) feature, "Lakeflow Designer," which allows non-technical users to build data pipelines without code.
According to the company, Lakeflow Designer offers an intuitive drag-and-drop visual interface and a natural language-based generative AI assistant, assisting users without specialized knowledge to easily design and build operational-level data pipelines.
This feature is based on Databricks' integrated data pipeline solution, "Lakeflow." According to the company, Lakeflow is a solution designed to allow data engineers to build reliable pipelines more quickly using all core business data. It has been officially launched.
Additionally, Lakeflow Designer is designed based on Lakeflow and Unity Catalog, along with Databricks Assistant, bridging the gap between existing code-based and no-code tools.
