SHIFT UP announced on the 12th that it officially launched the PC version of 'Stella Blade' that it developed.
Stella Blade is a triple-A action-adventure game developed by SHIFT UP, which was selected as the first second-party developer by SIE in Korea. After being exclusively released on PlayStation 5, it not only recorded the highest ranks in pre-orders across over 60 countries but also received recognition for its popularity and artistic quality by sweeping major awards domestically and internationally, earning a reputation for global success.
Having garnered intense reactions when it was released as a console game, Stella Blade elevated the expectations of players worldwide who were waiting for the official PC version release, showcasing its unique action and top-level optimization through the demo version unveiled last month.
The Stella Blade PC version features several new technologies specialized for the PC environment, including DLSS 4, FSR 3-based upscaling and frame generation, high-resolution textures, frame rate unlocking, and ultra-wide display support. It provided an excellent gaming experience that satisfied the majority of users with various PC environments, earning widespread acclaim immediately after the demo version launch with graphics and performance optimized for PCs.
According to Steam charts, the Stella Blade demo version recorded over 26,000 peak concurrent users during the weekend right after its release on the 31st of last month, ranking first in the 'New & Trending Games' category. Additionally, the highly positive percentage among over 4,500 evaluations of the demo version reached 91%, receiving significant praise even before the official release.
The Stella Blade PC version achieved the second highest global sales on Steam (first among paid games) as soon as pre-orders began in May. As of the current official launch day, it continues to maintain strong early sales momentum while ranking at the top of Steam sales charts in key regions such as the United States, Japan, China, Korea, and the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, SHIFT UP unveiled a cross-collaboration between its other global hit 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke (hereinafter referred to as Nikke)' and Stella Blade on the 12th in conjunction with the PC version release of Stella Blade. This cross-collaboration aimed for quality that maximizes the advantages of in-house IP collaboration, based on free internal resource sharing and communication, rather than collaboration with external parties that have limitations in world-setting sharing.
The Stella Blade PC version is divided into Standard Edition and Complete Edition. The Complete Edition includes not only the main game and in-game currency, cosmetic items, but also collaboration DLC with 'NieR: Automata' and 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke', as well as a limited costume exchange code that can be used in 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' until December 12.
