Fasoo announced on the 11th that it is participating in the global security conference 'Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2025,' being held from the 9th to the 11th (local time) at National Harbor, Maryland, USA.
The Gartner Security Summit, hosted by the information technology (IT) consulting and research firm Gartner, is a leading global security conference where security and IT leaders from around the world share the latest security trends and insights. Since participating in this event in 2013, Fasoo has once again joined as the only Korean corporation this year, introducing the latest data infrastructure strategies for AI utilization through session presentations and a standalone booth.
Ron Aden, CTO of Fasoo's U.S. subsidiary, delivered a session presentation on the topic of 'Conditions for AI-Optimized Data,' outlining the core requirements for AI data infrastructure to enable successful AI utilization. Aden explained that regarding AI training data, both quantity and quality, as well as security aspects, must be managed without omission: "The organization must manage its data comprehensively (quantity), and access control (security) must be possible with the latest and valid (quality) data."
Aden also introduced Fasoo's data security platform as a means to ensure integrated and consistent data protection for safe AI utilization. Fasoo's data security platform consolidates multiple data protection and management solutions into a single platform, allowing for consistent data protection under zero-trust principles. Regardless of the location or state of the data, consistent policy application is possible, and particularly, it provides real-time identification, classification, encryption, management, and monitoring functions throughout the entire lifecycle of sensitive data.
At Fasoo's standalone booth, they introduced key solutions from the AI data infrastructure and data security platform shared in the session presentation. The next-generation document management platform 'Rhapsody' allows for document asset management, version control, and file-level permission management, maximizing the quality and availability of internal data for AI learning. It encrypts all documents and, based on document virtualization technology, enables centralized management without duplication, even when stored in a distributed manner, replacing traditional document centralization.
Fasoo's core solution for data security platform, 'Fasoo Enterprise DRM (hereafter FED)', which is leading the global data security market, and the multi-cloud data security posture management solution 'Fasoo DSPM' were also introduced. FED applies continuous encryption throughout the entire process from file creation to disposal, restricting access, editing, and printing according to set permissions and providing usage history to track and manage every step from document creation to disposal.
Cho Gyu-gon, CEO of Fasoo, remarked, "In today's world, where AI capabilities are directly linked to an organization's competitiveness, the level of management of AI learning data determines AI capabilities," and added, "Fasoo, which provides optimal data management and protection infrastructure for AI, will continue to innovate to help global customers utilize AI as safely and efficiently as possible."
