Samsung Electronics' 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) home appliances trio' of air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines saw a significant increase in sales in the first half of this year.
According to Samsung Electronics on the 10th, the cumulative sales volume of home stand and wall-mounted air conditioners from January to May increased by about 30% compared to the same period last year. Notably, in May, sales averaged 10,000 units per day, one month ahead of last year's figures.
The cumulative sales volume of the Bespoke 4-door Kitchen Fit refrigerator from January to May also increased by about 40% compared to the same period last year.
During the same period, the cumulative sales volume of the 'Bespoke AI Combo' washer-dryer also increased by more than 10%. Notably, in May, the sales volume exceeded 10,000 units for the first time since its launch.
The AI air conditioner has features such as 'AI Comfort,' which analyzes user living patterns and environments to automatically adjust cooling, and 'AI Energy Saving Mode,' which can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%.
The 'Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max' refrigerator features 'AI Hybrid Cooling,' which adjusts internal temperatures using semiconductor components, and a 9-inch 'AI Home' touchscreen.
The all-in-one washer-dryer 'Bespoke AI Combo' is equipped with a 7-inch 'AI Home' touchscreen and enables natural voice control through advanced Bixby.
Samsung Electronics noted, 'In the 2025 model year representative AI home appliances, we have upgraded the user experience by enhancing product performance and introducing various AI functions that make daily life more convenient.' It added, 'In particular, customized AI functions that learn user living patterns and operate accordingly received a great response.'
