Kakao announced on the 9th that it will begin offering ultra-precise subway services on KakaoMap.

This service provides real-time train location information for a total of 23 lines, including lines 1 to 9 (with some sections excluded), the airport railroad, and the Suin-Bundang line in the metropolitan area, as well as lines 1 to 4 in Busan.

When users select the subway on the map screen, the movement towards the next station is displayed on the screen, allowing them to check the remaining time until arrival.

Lee Chang-min, the leader of Kakao's navigation squad, noted that “if users frequently take the subway, they can intuitively and quickly grasp subway location information on the map” and added that “we will continuously enhance the service by presenting various features that enable consolidation between online and offline.”
