On the 4th, LG Uplus announced that it has supplied the quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC) based authentication solution 'AlphaKey' to Business Canvas's customer management solution 'Re:catch.'

Business Canvas is a cloud-based solution company that helps enhance sales and marketing efficiency for business-to-business (B2B) corporations. It provides the customer management solution (CRM) Re:catch to over 300 clients, including large corporations and startups. Recently, while preparing for Information Security Management System – Privacy (ISMS-P) certification, it introduced AlphaKey to strengthen 'account and access control management,' which is a core item in the certification.

AlphaKey is a quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC) based solution that provides a secure authentication system even in quantum computing environments. A representative from LG Uplus noted that it has enhanced technical reliability and stability compared to existing authentication methods, adding that for software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions provided to clients in sensitive security sectors like telecommunications, finance, and IT, the advanced authentication system is an essential element.

Business Canvas is pushing to advance its account management system by introducing AlphaKey. The aim is to meet the requirements necessary for ISMS-P certification while simultaneously enhancing internal security levels. It believes that the high security of AlphaKey will be an advantage when expanding its CRM business targeting public institutions and the financial sector.

AlphaKey is a security system applying quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC) technology, showing higher performance in responding to hacking attacks compared to existing encryption methods. According to LG Uplus, it can minimize security risks in a SaaS environment while maintaining business continuity. LG Uplus is also pursuing the acquisition of cloud security certification (CSAP) to expand the supply of AlphaKey.

Joo Eom-gae, head of wired business at LG Uplus (senior managing director), said, 'This supply of AlphaKey is a case where a rapidly growing scale-up corporation satisfied its client's security requirements simply by adopting the AlphaKey solution, and it will serve as a good reference to support integrated account management and security internalization for companies that utilize SaaS.' He added, 'We will continue to challenge and leap forward to provide differentiated security value to clients and the industry as a whole.'
