Samsung Electronics has reportedly hired an executive from Taiwan's TSMC, the top company in the foundry industry, for its foundry division.
According to the industry on the 2nd, Margaret Han, former vice president of global purchasing and procurement at NXP Semiconductors, has been working as a vice president in charge of the foundry sector of Samsung Electronics America (DSA) since March.
The new vice president graduated from National Taiwan University and began her career at the Taiwanese semiconductor company Winbond, leading North American business and customer relations at TSMC for 21 years from 2000 to 2021.
Afterward, she worked at global semiconductor corporations such as Intel and NXP Semiconductors, and recently joined Samsung Electronics.
