Samsung Electronics' mobile payment system, Samsung Pay, was restored approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes after experiencing a payment outage on the morning of the 2nd.

Samsung Electronics, through a notification on the Samsung Pay app, announced that the card payment and registration error was resolved around 10:30 a.m. today. The error, which occurred around 7 a.m., was normalized after about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The cause of the outage has not yet been determined. That morning, numerous posts appeared on online communities and social media complaining about the payment errors in Samsung Pay.
