On the 30th, Naver announced that it will introduce "prime content" that allows users to watch sports and performances in real-time on its streaming platform Chijijik.

Naver, in cooperation with the sports channel SPOTV, will provide major games of the Major League Baseball (MLB) as the first prime content on Chijijik. Starting with a trial of MLB content, Naver plans to expand its lineup of premium content in the future, including sports and performances that can vividly convey the on-site experience. Chijijik streamers can use prime content as part of their personal broadcasts, just like the existing "watch together" feature. Users can purchase and enjoy desired content by episode.

Naver has been providing a variety of "watch together" content on Chijijik. In the first half of this year alone, the platform added ▲Infinite Challenge ▲The Genius ▲2025 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) ▲Digimon Adventure.

Kim Jeong-mi, leader of Naver Chijijik, said, "This prime content is an attempt to respond to the demand for experiencing high-quality content more richly, tailored to users' preferences and viewing contexts."
