On the 29th, the global short-form video platform TikTok announced a competition called '#Today'sKnowledge' to activate knowledge-related content.
The purpose of this competition is to secure high-quality educational content on various topics and to support the activities of professional creators. TikTok will select outstanding creators among the participants and award a total of 25 million won in prizes, while also providing various opportunities such as promotion through the TikTok Korea official account, selection as candidates for the TikTok Awards, and participation in additional projects.
Participants can submit educational content videos that include the hashtags #Today'sKnowledge and #TikTokPostContest through the contest page within TikTok from May 26 to June 20. The winners will be announced on June 30.
Chung Jae-hoon, head of content operations at TikTok Korea, noted, "This contest will serve as an opportunity for TikTok to contribute to the creative ecosystem and enhance educational content, becoming a more reliable platform for users. We will continue to provide various content and creator support programs for education and learning in the future."
