SK hynix executives are visiting Silicon Valley, United States, to secure artificial intelligence (AI) talent that will help realize the vision of a 'full stack AI memory provider.'
SK hynix announced on the 29th that it will hold the '2025 SK Global Forum' for three days starting on the 30th (local time) in Santa Clara, California.
The SK Global Forum is an opportunity to invite talented individuals from the United States to share the company's growth strategy and discuss the latest technologies and global market trends.
SK hynix stated, "It is time to strengthen our capabilities in computing systems to broadly expand the AI memory ecosystem," adding, "We have newly established a system architecture session at this year's forum to enhance exchanges with experts in this field."
This year, unlike in previous years, a separate exhibition space has been arranged so that invited talents can gain a comprehensive understanding of SK hynix's technological capabilities.
The exhibition space will showcase core products for AI data centers and on-device AI solutions, including high-bandwidth memory (HBM), high-capacity eSSD, and LPCAMM2. It will also feature a historical display that introduces the technology leadership and innovation milestones achieved by SK hynix.
Following last year, this year's forum will also see participation from C-level executives, including Kwak Noh-jung, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kim Joo-sun, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Ahn Hyun, Chief Development Officer (CDO), and Cha Sun-yong, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), who will engage with invited talents.
CEO Kwak will present SK hynix's vision and strategy for responding to the AI era in his keynote speech. CDO Ahn is expected to introduce the roadmap for next-generation memory technologies and product development.
Shin Sang-kyu, Vice President of SK hynix (in charge of corporate culture), noted, "Through the global forum, we have consistently recruited outstanding talent to enhance the company's technological competitiveness. We will continue efforts to secure talent that will lead in the AI era, continuing SK hynix's renaissance journey."
